Got engaged at Yas Marina Circuit on Friday 15th April this year. At the Yacht Club. Happy days. Stayed at the Yas Marina Hotel - really nice. Loved getting woken up by the squealing of tyres!!!
Off topic I know.......sorry.

This would be a great comparo even for a lowly Carrera S guy like me!
However Sebring is the best place for a test like this....world famous track that is both bumpy and smooth that really tests a cars suspension.

He did indeed and good as it was, we are in 2011 now and we are asking for a full on Evo Magazine 25 pager article and vids to boot, not 3 minutes of mostly Tiff getting the back end out. Whats more, with the 3.8 gen 2 at 450bhp and now the 4.0 at near 500bhp and associated handling improvements, I would be fascinated to see the differences in lap times and read all about it. Sort of an Evo Mag collectors copy.

I think in such a comparison it would be great to run the street GT3 on both stock tires and on slicks.
Stock alignment is pointless. Nobody in their right mind drives on the track with the stock alignment. Running in pure dealer delivery form is like using an iPhone with the packaging film still on it. Same goes for brake pads. My stock pads have about 300 miles on them. They will stay like that for a long time.
A good test will feature the cars in their typical configurations. Something guys like us (main consumers of these cars) can relate to. The rest of the readers will also get educated about what it takes to enjoy the track (many of the tweaks apply to most street cars).
Testing a Cup car in pure factory setup is silly, too. Like playing a guitar straight from the shipping box without tuning. It will sound like crap.
