I would, but it depends on how it looks. If it has a pseudo RSR appearance with the riveted flares, like the 993 GT2, then I'd be interested. It would really have to be distinguishable from the current 997 GT2/3 RS.

Andreas Preuninger, if you're reading this thread, this is what I want:
1) Give it 500Hp
2) Use the Metzger engine
3) 6-speed manual with a 4.00:1 R&P
4) Carbon hood and carbon fenders, and all the lightening you did to the GT2 RS
5) Bigger rear wing and front GT3 Cup splitter (spoiler lip)
6) Please use Titanium on the side mufflers, too much weight on the wrong spot
7) Call it GT3 RS 4.0 and I would pay up to $150k for it, call it GT3 RSR and I would pay another $30k for it.

Let us assume the order guide is not a hoax. The GT2RS order guide offered carbon front fenders as an option which the 4.0 RS order guide does not. Maybe then it is possible the fenders come only one way...i.e. Riveted as has been suggested.

I would guess peak hp somewhere around 8,200 rpm and torque only around 5-6% more than GT3RS.

looks like it was done using an excel spreadsheet.... i call it fake. And this whole LE rumor mill has been turning for months now... I thought they were supposed to announce it on April 8th at some big autoshow.... I am skeptical it will happen. I am hearing more chatter about 991 vs. 4.0LE....

As far as the MY11 comments. It makes perfects sense for this to be an 11. Porsche wants it to be the last 997, so they will just roll it off the line as the last 2011.

The Flares would riveted to the front fenders. It doesn't determine wether or not the fenders are carbon. I don't see Porsche offering CF front fenders as standard. Thy were an 8,000 option o the GT2RS.

1. Same noncarbon fenders on the current RS
2. Riveted flared fenders
As for model year, Porsche produced a 2005 996 GT3 and a 2005 997 Carrera. So you may be right having the car as a 2011, but Porsche has produced two generations of cars with same model year before, so it still could be a 2012.
