I was fortunate to have Fred take me for a ride in the 996 RSR at Spring Mtn back in 2011. Amazing car, just incredible. Unfortunately, if my memory serves, it was something in the differential that broke and sent us spinning off the track after barely more than 1 lap. Only Fred and Kent at Premier can tell you what that cost, but, yes, this was/is an expensive car to run. Fred hardly flinched, just hopped in his 996 Cup and drove the rest of the afternoon.

I am forever grateful to Fred for the experience. Great cars, great guy. I have pics but, for some reason, RL won't let me upload.
