997.2 Gt3 rs compared to Gt3
How different in sound and feel is the 997.2 Gt3 RS on street when compared to 997.2 Gt3? Has anyone driven both or owned both? Please comment.
I know RS is superior on track but just wondering how much more exciting does it get in an RS.

Drove both back to back when I was in NY before I even got mine...
The main difference is the lwfw. It makes the motor in the RS feel significantly livelier and allows it to revs much easier (and feel stronger) not that the regular GT3 is a slouch. For street driving, I actually prefer the GT3's flywheel because it's easier to drive in lazy mode. I couldn't really tell a difference in gearing since the test drives didn't allow me to redline it nor get to speeds where gearing became discernable. The sound of the exhaust was near identical, though maybe the RS had a little more of a raspiness to it, but perhaps it was due to the lwfw and different intake.
I'd say the GT3 is 95% of the in-your-faceness of the RS. (just made that phrase up). Good enough for me.
