Those with GT2/GT3 seats and harnesses, how do you install them with 3-point belts?

Default Those with GT2/GT3 seats and harnesses, how do you install them with 3-point belts?

I'm talking about the lap belts. What's the right (safe) way of installing them together on the seat mounting bolt?

Do you have the harness lap belts inside and the 3pt lap belts outside, OR do you have it the other way around?

I have a dual use car that will see as much street driving as it does track time so of course the 3pt belts will be retained and used often, and the harness reserved for the track. Just curious how everyone has installed theirs. Post pics if you've got 'em!

I don't want to turn this into a discussion about bolting harnesses to the chassis vs the seats, etc. I know bolting to the floor with welded plates is the way to go but that's not an option for me.

I always put the factory 3pt on "outside"/"after" the 6-pt lap attachment; mainly because it seemed to fit that way more "tidily" than vica versa.

In particular the "stalk" of the 3pt recepticle does not interfere with the 6pt lap in this configuration as it seems to with the opposite.

Alternatively, some rollbars come with a seatbelt mount (such as GMG).

But if you mount the harness lap belts on that particular roll bar mounting point, wouldn't you be compromising safety since it will likely exceed the specified mounting angle of the belt relative to the driver position? At least that's what looks like will happen after looking at the Schroth installation manual.

some of the schroth mounting tabs can be "legally" bent to solve that...

I never received the correct mounting h.w (bolts) to attempt this on my bar, and I prefer mounting them to the seat anyway...

The GT3 specific mount tabs are rigid and can't / shouldn't be bent.

Also I would prefer to have the sub belts and lap belts mounted on the floor but at least the Porsche sliders are up to the task of holding u and the belts in case of an accident, unlike the Recaro sliders that according to Recaro are not suitable for mounting belts on the side mounts and over the sliders.
Unfortunatelly by doing a search here I have seen a few that use them like that..

Another interesting thing that I noticed just recently (and after using GT3 oem recaros for 10 years..) is that the oem sub belts mount bar, used from the factory on the 6 and from some guys as aftermarket in the 7, is located quite far from the optimal position that Schroth suggests for a 6 point setup in their instructions manual and closer to a 5 point setup

The sub belt is a bit to the front from the seat's bottom opening instead of being vertical down from the groin and at approximately a 20° angle.

.
Right! ... just to clarify I was referring to the Schroth part SRB23C which can be bent.

I concur the brackets on the Porsche specific harnesses should not be bent.
