It says the car is sold.

Whoever bought it is in for some trouble... My friend looked for it online and the car seems to have frame damage

I seriously thought the price was because of the high mileage, but apparently it wasn't.

It's a shame what people do to each other... All the scams

A earlier post stated the car was sold at a car auction. They have to announce the frame damage at the auction so the seller knows of the damage to the frame. Should say it on the paper work when the transaction takes place. I Hope the buyer reads it.

The car was sold to Scozak (auto gallery) at an auction last week for $61k. Now it is offered on their website for $68.5k.

Maybe it was sold from that dealership to Scozak and that is why it said "Sold" on the page...

This vehicle has been tossed around from gallery to another constantly. It shows 4 auctions from 08/2010 to 01/2011

My buddy has a friend who works at a gallery and he said there was a report of frame damage

Frame damage is reported if the frame has marks on it from being locked down on a transport as well. if you drill or modify anything on the frame it is announce frame damage too. Best bet, is to put it on the rack and check it out, and obviously if a accident is on the carfax that would explain some things.

I was speaking with the seller, Neil of Scozak. He came down to $66.5K shipped to my door in NY. I've been calling around to the past shops that have serviced the car and it was tracked.
My last note to seller was that there was a question of possible frame damage and I'd need the car inspected. I didn't receive a reply.
Shame, beautiful car but I'm noticing that too many of these cars have stories...even those sold by dealers. Buying from the original owner, or at least having a full history of the car, is the only way I'm going to move on one of these.

Is there a way for the public to get records of auto auction history?

There are a whole lot of cheap 2007 GT3's at "auto galleries" right now; I'm wondering why Porsche dealers didn't want these cars and what their history is.

^ It was on the e-bay page under free carfax... I just checked and the auction ended.

Sorry
