Default C.J. Wilson Forms Mazda Race Team

Just saw this on the Grand-am racing site. Pretty exiting!

Our friend CJ now has dual membership in the Big Leagues Club.

Congrats C.J. !!

Maybe we can talk him into racing a Porsche next year. (there's the Porsche content!)

Sorry if this is old news. First I'd heard it.

thanks guys- Mazda has been really supportive of my goals and our team- and the reality is that the price of entry for MX5 cup and grand am ST is much lower than a 996 or 997 cup car. Going to run the business for a few years with my partners and do offseason races like VIR 13 hr and Thunderhill 25hr and do a few others here or there as a driver...I'm obviously busy doing work on the field during most of the summer!

A huge part of our program is going to help develop drivers who want to get out of club racing and into the pro ranks and grow the team in the process.

Damn, let me get this straight! Baseball when he goes to work and then after work you are going to race cars?

Not a bad gig at all! Living the dream certainly fits!

Enjoy in good health

C.J. Wilson Racing appears to be playing the game off the field as well as on.
