Starting the process of looking for a 997.2 GT3 (have always missed my previous 996 GT3 and the time is right) and pretty much have it narrowed down to Carrera white and nicely optioned.
Many at dealers- if I want a PPI would think it is a real conflict of interest to have that dealer do it, and I'd want a DME dump to check for over-revs etc.
Any suggestions???
Is the dreaded coolant line deal a real issue to be worried about???

you have to get them to do a certified pre owned inspection, which is the same as if they were going to put a extended warrantee on it. Then you will know how far off new condition it is.
If you dont trust the dealer to inspect the car, then why would you trust them to buy a car?

I purchased an 07 GT3 out of town and wanted a PPI, I used the local Dealer. I contacted the PCA local region for shops and they highly recommended the dealership in this case. As with any business their are qualified people and the rest, I would use the PCA as a source, good luck.
