Default GTRS Owners = Protecting the CF Hood

I'm looking at clear film for my GT2RS and I don't think you can put it on the CF hood. Anybody know for sure if you can't use clear film? I'd hate to ding up that hood. I'd also hate to ruin the finnish by putting clear film on it.

Answered my own question. Looks like the film is OK on the GT2RS. MY 599 GTO owners manual specifically says not to put any film or wax on the satin CF, so I was concerned about the GT2RS.

Ping Savyboy. I believe that he covered his CF hood with film.

Now that's too funny. A really have a Zonda on my to buy list. I turn fifty this year, so I feel like I have to keep checking the boxes. I looked for a Zonda a few months ago. Tough to find in the US.

Other cars on the List:
Lambo Super Veloce
Ford GT
Porsche 918 Spider
Porsche Carrera GT
Porsche 930 Speedster
Porsche 356 Speedster
Aston Martin Rapide
Ferrari GT40
Ferrari 16M

Now I need the Dow to hit 15,000 before I start buying again. The 599 GTO and the GT2RS blew my budget for the next two years. My search for the Holy Grail of sports cars continues. I'll keep trying new cars until I go broke or die. Whichever comes first.
