Default Rear seat delete

I am removing the seats and lower carpet from a 09 Carrera and replacing it with GT3 or GT2 carpet with no seats.
If you have the GT carpet to sell or trade let me know.
I will sell all these seats and belts and carpet panel.
Black standard leather interior.

Will these work on a .1GT3? If so I will take them. Please don't flame the wife wantes the rear seats for the kids. Off topic, I know a rear seat conversion has been done on a .1 GT3, but is it possible on a .2 GT3?

I dont know about the receptacles on the particular car. I think all the receptacles are on every 997 frame/body. I dont think they omit insignificant attachment points or tapped holes from one model to another. It doesnt seem time and cost effective to take those steps in mfg.
BUT I dont know for sure.
If every frame is the same, they delete seats and belts and put in a carpet w/ no holes.
If anyone wants to buy or make deal to trade carpet etc, send me a message.

this may be the one part that a GT does not have on it that would make installation impossible. This is on the driver side ( one on each side) wheel well and the oblong part is the side mount for the seats. It is behind the side leather quarter panels.
So does a GT2, GT3 have this on it?

No, they don't... That has to be welded in....

The 997.2GT cars also supposedly have a single skin in the tub where the butt cushions go which was the reason that rear seat retrofit isn't possible... All early models had a double skin like the rest of the carrera range.

So none of the .2 GT3's have the double skin or are you sying that the early .2's did? Will the .2 seats work in a .1 GT3?

Who knows. One sheet of steel isnt strong enough?
I dont think it matters because the carpet foam shell is so thick and the seat bottoms are solid so think it would absorb most of the weight and carry it over the carpet not to the chassis.
