it's just one of those playstation point n shoot cars. peter had him in the esses and under braking, just didn't have the power out of the corners. gtr's tyres won't last long with all those electronic devices tidying up the car's attitude all the time.

Peter, It was good to meet you. I am watching your video so I can pickup some pointers and see where I was going wrong!
I watched you in one of the Sunday sessions and you were making quick times even with all the traffic.
And yes, that GTR was turning some quick times....

Couple of comments on the GT-r @ Barber. That was Catesby Jones driving and the car was on the OEM Runflat Dunlops. In talking with Catesby, Barber really shows the Achilles Heal of the GT-r ie Sweepers where you can't defeat the physics of 4000#'s. Catesby runs with all TC turned off, no Nannie's for him. Before you slam him to bad he does race an 911 IROC Clone in HSR/SVRA.
I had a good time pointing Peter by when he tried to run over me. in my 3200# E36M3 on skinny NT01's and cra****y suspension. I was happy though to get into the 1:49's.

A lot of us got practice pointing Peter by! Amazing how quickly you got up to speed Peter. I wish I had seen your videos Saturday, I'Ll do some things different next time there since seeing them. I'm trying to make VIR work in April to be able to point you by a bunch more.

Hey Doc, nice to meet you and I hope to see you at VIR
Haha, y'all assumed I was waiting for a point by
I pointed by the GTR by as well as the orange racing Corvette once he warmed up his tires. I had 2 laps of dilusions after I passed him coming out of the pit LOL.

The wite GT3 # 28 is seriously fast.
The Corvette was faster then me, the GTr was faster then me, but I think the best driven car was the GT3 # 28.
His car was not set up, no LSD on worn MPSC and he was very little bit slower then me. He also came down to Sebring and gave us all a good chase.

The white 28 GT3 was Grady Willingham, three Daytona 24 finishes, ALMS driver who ran with Hayward, Murray, Bundy and other notable pro Porsche hot shoes. He is still seriously fast, had sport seats and a stock shoulder harness and the GT3 is his daily driver! Another super nice guy, who kept me close in his rear view mirror for a few laps in group 4 as a teaching experience for me.

I was fortunate enough to have Grady as an instructor in the past (he did my solo sign off). He is a fantastic instructor. He took me for a few laps in his car and I came to understand very quickly how much more I have to learn!

Doc, Grady was saying something like that without the names.. :-)
He was the faster driver in the slower car after following him I told him he needs a LSD, hahaha..
I knew he wasn't kidding when he said he was holding back leading you around.
After following him for a few laps and him being in my mirrors all the time at Sebring and Barber told me enough to listen when he explains where I leave time LOL.
