I think the radiator mod is documented elsewhere in the forums an alternative to cutting the bumper is to order an RoW RS bumper...

But as 911Slow mentioned this is not required for 996 since the RS had the same aero in front ... As I recall the cup splitter is actually cheaper than the street version.
