Of the 20 or so cars at the West Coast delivery event, only four by my count had the carbon fenders. And I would guess half of the cars had the *** (sofa) seats. I freely admit I specced a NAV and XM because I actually drive my cars but to order the sofa seats and all the frou frou stuff on a car like this is sacrilgious.

It's almost surprising that Porsche would allow it.

Spending that kind of money you can get it however you desire, but there's no way I would order the sofa seats

You ordered Nav because you were young and naive. I'm afraid only one of those two shortcomings will necessarily resolve itself.

There were a couple of customer there who were clearly compelled to order the wider seat ... : |

Don't hate me because I'm 6'5" and 300lbs...I like sports cars too and I'm glad there's a seat option for those of us with higher downforce;-)

More downforce to you!
(I'm not that far off your pace, either, so I'll resist throwing stones in an *** house ... : )

Mmmm, lol, but I'm sure it's not a limited-edition, top-of-the-line, best-ever, showcase, collectible, image-booster, flagship product

They offered that GT2RS to me also but I have had a few too many bad experiences with my hometown dealership. Though I do entertain all offers that come my way with them. And we do attend all their open houses and events
