Default how good are the bilstein pss9

Hi
Last week I tried the new gt3mk2. The ride was more confortable than the mk1 and the steering wheel is more direct. I would like to know how the bilstein pss9 handles in the track and the streets and can you use it for the gt3mk1.....and the new bilstein pss coil over kit... has anyone used them or have any information regarding their practicality in exchange for the stock suspension. Maybe by changing the shocks my car would have the same quality as the mk2 in relation to ride compliant and sharper steering? please give your opinion regarding the matter...

thanks!

My 997.1 GT3 has the Bilstein B16 Damptronic suspension, which is really the PSS 10 with electronic adjustable damping. I drove a 997.2 GT3 briefly a few months ago and I think you are right that the suspensions are roughly equivalent. The new car felt more fluid but that could be anything, including sway bar adjustment or maybe just being newer.

i have B16 damptronics on my RS.
it is an improvement over stock for track duty while still being street able.

the steering in the 997.1 and 997.2 should be the same.
A good alignment, and aggressive alignment could alter this.

The Damptronics are firmer then stock so dont plan on matching the 997.2 for ride quality with em'.
