You were driving very well and it always warms my heart when I see someone give chase to Erik and give him a hard time ;-) You really reel him in into T17
Not easy going into the dark with a set of highbeams in your rearview mirror

Not sure why, most years i'm actually faster in the dark then during the day, but this year i was definetely slower in the dark. Must be getting old

Amy was driving Gavins car last weekend. She's pretty fast too!

Scary. If rally driver Gavin can lose it like that, I certainly can lose it like that..

Yeah, sequential shifters feel like cheating. The guy with the Viper ACR last month said he could not gain on me on the straights, and asked me if I had any modifications done to the car (power wise).
Hi Guys Amy here, Gavin's girlfriend. Our GT3 RS has a 4.0 R&P and we have moved 5th to 6th and replaced 4th and 5th with shorter gears. 1st, 2nd, 3rd are standard. And of course we are running the Sequential Shifter which is fantastic when you are shifting 30 times a lap!

I belive he is running 4.0 rear and re geared transmission. He is at the top of sixth entering T17 (I have been in his car before at Sebring). Complete interior strip, soild mount suspension, I think Motons, cup exhaust. It is the car he races in Targa New Zealand.

Here is an old video of it

Thanks for posting the video! It is a gen 1 GT3 RS with some mods. Sequential Shifter, Different gear ratios, Exe-tc suspension, Cargraphic exhaust, Factory OEM Rollcage, and lightweight carpets, all interior trim is in place as is required by rules.

It's the same as an Oakley, but they do not actually make the Sequential Shifters. they are the UK importer for them. The same Identical Shifter in the US is called the AQ Sequential Shifter. They are all manufactured by SQS in Europe.

Now I understand the full cage at least he did not have to worry about anyone rear ending him ;-)

Misunderstood, Not ideal I meant not party line

It is neat watching someone like Gavin navigate in an open passing session and still drive at the limit
