GT3 vs. Ferrari 360/F430 Questions

Don't get me wrong, the F1 is incredibly fun to drive, but for tracking it's not ideal. I'm on my third clutch (and they are $8k with all the goodies). With the dry clutch, I wouldn't recommend launching the car from a dead stop. In order to protect the clutch, I always get the car rolling before putting my foot into it. They fixed the problem with the 458 and new wet clutch set-up, in fact, it's pretty damn amazing.

Have had a 360, Challenge Stradale, Scuderia, and a GT3. Currently drive an '08 RS. Have tracked all of them. All are fun on the track. Best handling of all is the Stradale, but it was tricky to drive near the limit - proverbial knife's edge. The RS or a current GT3 are also great handling, but give more feedback and are more drivable near the limit. They are more reliable and cheaper to run than the F cars. If you can only have one and plan on lots of track work, then go with the Porsche. If you can swing both, nothing can match the buzz of a Stradale or Scuderia at full tilt. They are the ideal car for light weekend use with occasional track use - outside of cost considerations. Best.

Once again, everyone, thanks for the continued input. The thought I have right now - subject to change - is to keep my C4S and augment with either the GT3 or F430/360. Right now, my C4S is pretty close to track orientation (Bilstein HD Sport Suspension with H&R Sway Bars). Sooooo, still undecided. Am supposed to take a look at F Cars next week.
If I decide to go with the GT3, are there major differences between the 07/08's and 10/11's? I know about the horsepower and dynamic engine mount additions, but, from a track characteristic standpoint, am I missing anything else?

430 scud is the track toy to get if you can pull it off, if not I'll get the GT3.
Don't base your purchase decision from what ppl say. Drive the darn cars and form your impression. 30 minutes behind the wheel and you'll realize the GT3 doesn't do a lot of things your modded C4S does, but it handles oh-so-well that there just isn't anything remotely close in its price range.

F430 needs lots of work to be used at the track. The stock brakes are insufficient, the CCB brakes need better pads ($4,000 a set). The F1 wasn't fix until MY08, when the new actuators and electronics were updated, any older F430 requires $$$$ for clutch and F1 maintenance. Springs are too soft and the car runs out of suspension travel. Skinny wheels, crappy tires, and too much weight (almost as heavy as a 997 Turbo).
The F430 is a slow track car. Any GT3 crushes it. GT3 are almost track ready.
