One degree is divided into 60 minutes
Porsche uses minutes in the workshop manual.

The other way written with a decimal so with minutes when you say 1° 30' degrees that is 1.5 degrees.. these two are equal. : )

That's exactly what I was saying... U can have the same alignment in degrees but if u use different tires the toe in length will be different. U're in good hands since ur garage is giving u alignment specs in degrees.

I agree; one can convert any unit of measure to another but in this application degrees and minutes are the standard unit of measure.
