997.2 Brake Rotors?
#33
Anyone else using AP Racing slotted steel rotors?
Replaced the factory PCCB rotors with the AP units on a 2008 GT3 two years ago and have had been very pleased. Fitment is 380 front/350 rear and have run both Pagid RS14 and RS29 pads. They are a bit expensive initially as you do have to use the AP front hats. The rear factory PCCB hats work with the AP rotors. Later replacement of the rotors alone is similar in pricing to the factory drilled steel units. Quality and durability are very good. I do not know if these are an option for the 997.2 cars, but it might be worth checking out. Based on prior experience with the 996 cars, these are much more durable than the factory steel rotors.
As a frame of reference, my car sees heavy track use on Hoosier R100 slicks, as well as street and casual track outings on MPSCups.
