We started at Sonnen Porsche in Mill Valley and headed north on HWY 101. Then west on Lucas Valley Road. North on Nicasio Road around the resevior. South on Point Reyes/Petaluma Rd. out for lunch at Point Reyes Station. Then south on HWY 1 down the coast thru Stinson Beach and Muir Beach and back out to the Golden Gate bridge and into the city.

What can you say re the condition of the roads (surface quality)? Last I drove Lucas and Hy1 they were pretty bumpy.

Lucas Valley is pretty smooth -- I think it was resurfaced about 3 years ago. It got a little bumpy along the coast (past Stinson Beach), but nothing horrible. Boy, we are blessed to live in NorCal. Great tracks nearby, fantastic back country roads, decent weather . . . .
