Default Anyone selling a GT2 rear bar?

Hey guys,

Am looking to reduce understeer in my GT3 for the next track season and wanted to see if any of you upgrading from the .1 to .2 cars has a GT2 bar you want to sell.

Thanks!

You don't need one.
I ran GT3 middle front and full soft rear and I was still always sideways because typically therear tires are worn more then the fronts. Let me know if you see any understeer:

I bought my first P car in Aug '08 and bought about 6 sets of R6 for $300.00 (Not each, total) and a used set of R888's the rears typically only lasted a day before they'd cord and I was still driving Mustang style, fast in, sideways and slow out..

Not a bad experience, I still got decent laptimes before they would cord and I learned some GT3 car control. Always been confortable with oversteer and uncomfortable with understeer.

Now with brand new, 3 year old Toyo's (I have 4+ new sets now, bought some more yesterday, $700 a set!), LSD, big wing and learning slow in fast out, I have the front bar soft and rear middle on RS and it understeers a bit in tight corners. Now learning to be patient...

www.Tiresdirect.net has a special on 245/40/18 for $268.00 free shipping, www.threadepot.net has them for $255.00 + shipping. They used to be $150.00 but they went up.
Rears were $198.00 but they went up too, I think they're almost gone.

The last few sets I found on e-bay, I paid $145 each for rears + $75.00 shipping for 2 tires.

I'm with Mooty and Peter on a softer rear bar setting. My current preference on the 997.1 is Front: middle or one from full stiff and Rear: full soft. I've tried the stiffer rear settings and the car felt uncomfortably loose to me.....Gt2 bar will only enhance that. Alignment and pressures can certainly effect/magnify understeer or oversteer as well.

With the bar settings mentioned above I run RA1's at 36/38 hot and the following alignment settings:

Front Camber: -2.5 (per side)
Front Toe: 0
Rear Camber: -2.3 (Per side)
Rear Toe: 4mm in (per side)

The car feels relatively neutral with slight understeer in the tight stuff. I'm much more comfortable with a bit of push in these ***-engined machines.

Wow! The price for the RA-1s has gone up! It's almost equal to a set of R6, no sense in buying Toyo anymore...

I have a GT2 bar (and bushings) which I'm happy to sell. I don't know the price. Or freight to Canadia.

I had it on a 997.1 GT3 with 265's on the front and both front and rear bars on stiff with the factory "race circuit" alignment and ride height specs. Very easy to drive.

Except that the Toyos last much longer and you can drive them to the track
