Just watched it. Thanks for the heads-up. Got to love how the Brits make fun of the Americans...
I have up on US Top Gear after suffering through the first two horrendous episodes. Even though the UK version is fully scripted, it is a blast and my family (who are far from motorheads) enjoy it as well...

UK host are just way funnier.
Not to mention they put out an entire magazine each month too. That's like having a writing department that can pump out four shows a month then having the staff of Car & Drive on the payroll too.

the tg magazine is terrible, but the show has universal appeal. people who don't even like cars love the show. it's CLARKSON! he is an unstoppable torrent of zany wit, he is bananas and we love him! i used to read his article in performance car mag, back in the late 80's. he was crazy then too! i have a picture of him with big, boofy eighties hair, riding a carbon lotus racing bicycle wearing a leather jacket and smoking a cigarette!
