"let's build a 997 in the size of a 993" and leave out all the froufrou stuff, build 1000 of 'em and ask $200K and call it good to the tune of $200M top-line. Maybe even demand buyers put them in at least one season of club racing in their country so there's no flippers (but it would still be okay to be a bubble wrapper or collector or concours cue-tip brigadier.) Just a thought. Maybe I need to just build my own 993 and forgetaboutit.
