Is Signal Yellow really that orange looking or is that just the camera playing tricks with color?

I believe it was always that colour.

Personally, and I'm not usually big on yellow, I think the RS looks great in that color and I would have gone for it in that color for sure.

I like that the second set of .2 RS cars are being spec'ed with black accents...looks better then red & golf IMHO

Where is this $13K upcharge rumor coming from?

On my '11 RS, I ordered Riviera Blue "Paint to Sample" for $5,500 ........ so enlighten me !

DZL option, which gets all the red bits painted black, plus black wheel option, plus PTS. The $13k is not exact but it well within the ballpark.,

Signal Yellow RS is simply amazing. Now would somebody on this side of the pond PLEASE order one similar so I can hold the smallest hope of making it mine one day?

Given the choice to PTS a new car, would you go for Signal Yellow (as seen in pic) or the Gen 1 RS Orange?
