is that 229 in the carrera or the gt3?....in the carrera that is fast..in the gt3 you are just startin..you'll be in the low to mid 220's in no time....i have not tracked my car yet..next week sebring with new nt-01's ..should be able to keep up with you if i dont crash....will have to get warmed up with the car especially with no electronics...can't wait to drive it...got the upgraded RS clutch, lightweight flywheel, and upgraded LSD that should help...awsome car but not as pretty as yours......

Guys can't wait to see your GT3....ahhh I want one sooooo bad...but I need to wait for Porsche do help me with a PDK in 1 as you all well know. Andrew your car looks awesome in the pics. Mike K, wish I was at sebring next weekend...I will be at the PBOC and Chin October events and am probably doing the PBOC September event. You should love thos Nitto's and get with some other GT3 996 drivers because these cars handle differentl than our 997 Carreras with all the safety nanny's. Have fun!

Andrew, I do 2:28-31 in my 09 Carrera S PDK.... depending on weather, tires and my driving. You will be down in the mid 2:25's in a GT3 with R-Comps or Hoosiers in no time as you get to know the car. Although another 997 GT3 guy (Andrew Burke) was experiance much slower times last weekend at Sebring, he was running on stock 19" r-comp Pirelli Corsa's.

The silver stock GT3 rims had hoosiers that i heat cycled the first session. The black were pirelli corsa's that i used the rest of the first day. Dont know which look i like better.
