Does anyone happen to have the list of overrev ranges that the motormanagement can register on an mk2 GT3, and which of those void warranty?

I only found a list of ranges in an old thread on 6speed, and that concerned the Carrera engines (so starting at 7200rpm).

Here are the 6 rev ranges for the mk1 997 GT3:

Range 1- 9000-9200
Range 2- 9200-9400
Range 3- 9400-9600
Range 4- 9600-10000
Range 5- 10000-11000
Range 6- +11000

I guess very similar to MK2 but not sure..

Have fun taking her up to Range 6. I would be amazed if that engine could make it to Range 2!

At Range #6 you no longer have a warranty!

They go into range #2 often. You should request a print-out of your DME when at the dealership for service.
