Default Porsche part # for 997.2 RS Car Cover

Doeas anyone have the correct part number? Is the cover for the RS different from regular GT3? The parts guy says it is the same.

Indoor cover is the only one available, part# 997.044.000.16. No way its the same as GT3, wing is way different for starters.

don't think there's one ever available for the RS. u can buy the Cup car cover from Motorsport, or get the Carrera GT cover. CGT one fits fine because it's wider to begin with.

Per Suncoast, Standard GT3 indoor cover part # is 997.044.000.12 and GT3 RS is 997.044.000.16

You'll need a PMNA account to order a Cup cover or find a shop with a PMNA account.

Cover?
I keep hearing "never put a cover on your car"
Is it a problem if the car is dust free??

A Cup cover won't fit correctly, the '10's have a larger wing and the older Cups have the narrow bodywork. the cover is very "fitted," and the indoor cover is very soft, no scratches on a clean car. I have a PMNA account if you really want one would be happy to help you order it but I don't think you will like the fit.

My dealer gave me one with my car back in April. It is an indoor cover. California Car Cover also makes a nice one.

Heard the same from my film/detail guy. I don't use one. I find a quick drive takes care of any dust accumulation

thanks - My dealership gave me the wrong cover. Like O.J's glove, it doesn't fit.

If the one cscrogham posted has flannel inside and shinny lymcra like outside and thin like cycling shorts, then that's the good stuff I had on my old gt3rs. Very very soft and tight fit.

I use it after cr is washed.

Once driven I don't cover gain. But it's washed every week n

That's a good description, although I must admit the cycling shorts comment made me a little uncomfortable mooty.
