Default Track day pads for PCCB

Hello all ,

Just booked my first track day ( Anglesey U.K ) and i'm looking for advice on the best track day brake pads. Car is a 997 GT3 RS Generation 1 . Car has Carbon Ceramic discs. Not too botherd if they are noisey , just looking for good performance. Any sugestions.
Thanks in advance
Phil

Contact Craig @ Rennstore.

Porsche Motorsport P50 "Greens" are the correct pad to run on track for those with PCCB.

If you are new to tracking, don't bother, just run your stock pads. After you wear those out, you can start to consider "track" pads. The OE pads are perfectly fine for beginning/intermediate drivers. Track pads need to come to temp in order to stop at 100% and I would hate to read about you driving through a corner because you forgot to get some heat in them

First lap or two they need heat - then pure bliss, such an improvement over stock pads in feel and longevity.

I have them in stock - fresh from Porsche Motorsports, and I can ship for about 48 bucks to the UK --

Thanks guys. Will try the P50 Greens. I've had some track experience in other cars. Looking forward to testing this one very much.
