Default Question on selling a GT3

I'm helping a friend to sell a 2007 GT3 and was wondering if it is best to sell the car as is with the HREs and exhaust or should I put the stock wheels and exhaust back on? Would you prefer a stock GT3 or one with those mods? I'm guessing a selling price won't give you much more with the rims and exhaust.

Also, what would be a good company that might be interested in purchasing this car? I have contacted TruSpeed as they are selling my old turbo and they seem to specialize in low miles cars. Any input on Cars Dawydiak in San Francisco?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'd want both sets of wheels so I'd have a set for track.
I'd also want both exhaust setups because my local track has noise restrictions but ones a few hours away don't.

I'd say it would appeal to a greater population in standard trim... You could always offer the additional parts to the purchaser at a discount or sell them seperately and make some extra cash. They probably won't do you financial favors on the car...

return car to stock.

you can use additional parts as bargaining chip.

people only want to pay market value. so give them market car.

Thanks for the input so far as it is helpful. As far as market price, my friend went against my advice bought the car very recently and will be really upside down when the car sells.

rule is same for any cars and brands - selling mods with the car will limit your market plus essentially you will end up giving away all those mods for free.

take all mods off if it does not require to lay for labor more than those mods do cost on used market as sell them separately.
