Dive plates, sometimes called "canards", are angled plates, usually at the front of a car, that are used to fine tune its aerodynamics. While these plates will develop some amount of downforce by functioning similar to a spoiler, the amount will be very small. Further, if the angle of the dive plate exceeds 45° above horizontal, it will actually create significantly more drag than downforce. As a result, dive plates are usually used for secondary purposes, such as vortex generation to amplify the effect of some other downforce producing device.

I've got new wheels coming in a couple weeks and my mechanic is going to lower the car I believe another 50mm.

I think Mooty is looking into the cup car chin/front splitter for me

I'll look into that and thank God I got the lift system !

For all those who are asking about the wing.

I had to order it from Europe Porsche Motorsports via Gert at Carnewal. Reason being is that Porsche North America does not sell parts from cars that are not U.S Production cars.

The wing is build for the 2010 GT3 R and 2011 GT3 Hybrid. The decklid in the GT3RS MKII is different so you need to make sure the mounts/wing are correct.

And saved lots of $$$ with the weak Dollar

Here are pics of the wing on the GT3R and Hybrid

your wing appears to be a straight forward bolt on application

it is. All you need to do is order wing. comes with side blades attached and support mounts. then a straight swap with the old RS.
