Maybe it is indicated in the owners manual, but what is the maximum allowed oil temperature (in °C) for a 997 GT3?

On hot days we see 250F = 121C in humid south FL. That is nowwhere near red, but I wonder what the guys see in CA and AZ..

My stock gauge on a 6GT3 reads 1/4 inch to the right of straight up on track.
How hot is that?

Isn't that gauge for water temp?

My oil temp at the track is usually 250ish... when its get 100º+ in the summer it may creep to 275

Once you get past 300 mark,you might want to worry about cooling

We change oil for every event and use a double ester oil rated to 350º

I think your right, but I am told that oil and water temps are close.
