Thanks for the kind words, Cobalt Blue. Typically we have about 10 of us that run together, unfortunately only 3 or 4 of us could make it to Road Atlanta with Chin July 24th. We will have a trailer with TuneRS Motorsports on it. I look forwward to seeing you there. Maybe someone here will instruct me. I am going to run my Pirelli Corasa and save my new Hoosiers for Sebring the following weekend.

That color is unbelievably sexy.

...and I despise blue cars.

Grats on the new pickup - I myself am still flirting with the idea of an "upgrade", but haven't seen the perfect one (probably white for me) yet.

hello

gorgeous car, i dont want to hijack thread but im thinking about upgrading to a GT3 from my CS cab. I did a couple of track days in my car but cant do any serious ones due to the fact its a cab. I was toying with the idea of doing spec boxster racing but then had the idea of getting a gt3 or perhaps and RS as a fun weekend car, plus a track tool. How serious are the DE events, do a lot of people drive street cars and drive the weekend? I used to race motorcycles so im used to the idea that you dont take anything to the track that you arent prepared to wad up, but i certainly couldt afford to replace a gt3 or rs quickly, are the De events fun but civilized/
cheers

I saw the car in person this weekend and it is simply gorgeous. The yellow calipers really set the cobalt off.

I look forward to sharing the track with you at Sebring on the 31st. With your driving abilities, you will be the the high to mid 2:20s in no time Have fun in RA...

I have been there 2 times, once with my Mustang and once with the GT3:

So, 1.37 is the time to beat in the RS ;-)
What is considered a good lap in a stock '10RS? Anyone know?

1:37 is a great time in your 3. I haven't heard of anyone running a 10RS around road Atlanta yet but a fast lap would be low 1:30's and I'm sure you can get there. I'll just make sure To give you a point by early

If you want to stay close there a few hotels only 10 minutes away. Chateau élan is a very nice resort and spa but pricey. Holiday inn express is right across the street from chateau. Or if you want the city life, you can always stay in buckhead but you will be crying when you have to wake up an hr earlier than everyone else just to make it to the track

I have a healthy fear of Road ATL, so I will be happy with a 1:35. I think the GT3 might have been better geared then the RS.

We are all staying at the Chateau or in HIexpress across the street, so you can stay cheap and still hang at the bar..

Did you change the gearing in your GT3 when you had it and did you really get 21 laps the last time you were there?? I'm just looking at your traqmate display. I've been talking to Chris G. So I look forward to meeting up with you guys

No, it was stock gearing and I run into redline before breaking. RS has shorter gearing now, so more shifting maybe.

Yes, 21 laps. They 1;37 came on the last lap of that session. I did not say the '37's came easy LOL.
I did almost all '38's that day. Super hot day, Hoosiers LWFW, otherwise stock.

Look forward seeing everyone there.
