Default big?

Any one with broad back driving the 3.8 RS? I sat in one yesterday and can't see sitting for any extended period of time. Bolsters felt quite snug.

I'm 210lbs and like the seats a lot better than the previous 996GT3 shells...although in reality sports cars and their seats aren't built for people past a certain size

The GT2 "folding" seat is narrow in the backrest and the top of it tends to roll your shoulders forward a bit. I find it more comfortable with the seat cushion removed -- this repositions my shoulders a littler lower and helps with the fit of the backrest. It would also be great to "cant" the seat backwards a couple of degrees -- it's just a tad flat and upright. The Carrera GT (fixed back shell) is a tiny bit narrower and has the same tendency to roll the shoulders forward, but I find it more comfortable. Then again, I find the Recaro Pole Position seat more comfortable than either factory seats (which are variants on the same basic design.)

To answer the specific question, the 997.1 and 997.2 cars, including the RS, which I've driven 200 miles non-stop, are very comfortable long range conveyances.

Salads my friend, salads...
I'm 6' 4" 250LBS on a good day and the stock RS seats barely fit, but they do. Take the cushions out and you'll be OK on track, on the street no problem...

Nah...but it prob looks that way...was Div 1 decathlete in college and never really stopped training (part of my ever enlarging psychosis)...migrated towards resistance training and clean eating and never looked back....it's a sickness!!

dang man. 260. I'm like 29 yo and 9% at 210- couldn't imagine hauling around another 50 lbs of mass. I'm looking forward to slimming down to 190 or 185 at some point once I'm done playing...
