Sorry for poor quality pics ... It's a LHD car , but driver seat is out to modify clutch master cylinder
Front Alcon TA6+ front calipers + cup style master cylinders

Unsuable on street but what a pleasure to track :-)

A bit far from original thread ;-)

another option sort of -- I am using with no codes etc
997.2 cup air box (same as 3.8 RS airbox, just less money)
AutoSea internals
I have a getty deck lid that has been modified for dual intake and retains fan
(note: decklid mod not pictured)

I have this setup as well, except my .2 cup airbox is carbon fiber, and Im running a OEM .2 Cup deck lid.

And a 3rd option is the Sharkwerks carbon fiber airbox, which is a bit larger and uses the larger 4.0 rubber inserts to the decklid

For as long as I see an Autosea post or any mention of their carbon fiber products, I'll keep referring to their failure to deliver a workable product. The plenum I ordered from them had a problematic interior. A unit shipped to another RL customer gave up and cracked at the throttle body mounting. Those facts are made all worse by the attitude of the individual behind this company.

Two words: CAVEAT EMPTOR.

Both of your issues were with the plenums though correct? I had asked you about the airbox and you had said there weren't any issues with that part.

I have a 4 cup air boxes coming in to share with you all. This was predicated by Jay getting hosed by Eddie. Going to work with some of my CF guys to make a dual cone setup inside the cup airbox, and also look at opening up the holes to the 4.0RS sizes, along with 4.0RS rubbers (stupid expensive...)

Let me know if you're interested...

Bingo Jamie. Interested in the dual cone set up also when your ready.PS haven't forgot the VA on your ATI harmonic balancer pulley- I'm in shutdown session so time is shy for my VA tech, me and the VA data equipment. Promise to get there eventually!

Are the cone type better than a flat panel inside that dual intake box. Seems like without the cones and all that plumbing inside u have more air volume going into throttle body with a flat panel inside intake box and no plumbing for the cones. Mike

4.0RS has dual cone... Will test on the dyno between a flat panel and the dual cone when the time comes . I think PJS tested and saw gains with the dual cones.

Your whole thing is wrapped in CF, the one I'm making would just be the cup car box and the dual cone conversion with 4.0RS rubbers. Simple, light all go no show. With the money saved, maybe folks can get a cup car decklid to make it all work nice!
