Love the pics, Pete, thanks for sharing as always!

How did the RS feel going around Buttonwillow for you?

John,

Awesome! It was great. Second time for me at BW. We ran Star Mazda that weekend which was new for me. I previously ran the Sweeper.

My config at BW was with new settings: tighter rear bar and lower than usual tire pressures. Very happy with that setup. First weekend on the Corsa Systems vs the MPSC's. Systems are so sweet.

Much time left on table for me at Club Corner and Riverside as I keep building up my speed there. But the RS is very stable in those areas. So much fun to drive!

Yep, Star Mazda is different for sure with that extra distance on the straight and the different set-up going in to the esses....good to get experience with both configurations.

I'll follow-up with you on the settings after I get my RS back from European Delivery. I figure if I drop it off at the factory on the 2nd of July it should be back by end of August and I know you'll have something worked out with your RS by then so that we can enjoy another track day together!

That would be great! Be sure of course to post your Euro delivery experience!

How is Buttonwillow?

I live less than 30 minutes from it and I can not wait to get my new gt3rs out on the track.

Pretty forgiving I would say, in that a lot of runoff room if you have an off and shouldn't tear up your car (too bad at least). Any track close by is a GREAT track

I urge you to go properly break-in your RS by thrashing it mercilessly at Buttonwillow Do it now before it is too late!

Thumbs up

Thank you so much for the feedback gentlemen. I greatly appreciate it.

I cant wait til my RS gets here. I just won an 8 hour track season at Buttonwillow in an auction. i get to use my own car.

Guess I know where we are breaking in at.

Buttonwillow? Buttonwillow is barren, hot, dusty and windy. It has a bit of Infineon and a bit of Thunderhill only because the dust from those tracks has blown there.
