+1..totally agree...there is a 09 CS Cab (launch moder) MSRP 109k...price keeps dropping on it to 80k now....this is BN car..however on the used market you find the exact same car with a few thousand miles priced at 80k as well....

Adam I feel for you man, and like you I have a infant but the mkt for resale for these cars is insane.....
my very very slightly used MK1 car I bought in Dec......dealer just offered $21k less for a trade in on a new MK2....fogetaboutit I say!(6mos and I could have bought a 3.9 motor for it.....)
I feel bad for anyone buying a MK2 brand new.......1st and 2yr depreciation will warrant a heart attack when the sale time inch hits you....3rd year will just comatose you
good luck maybe your wife will understand that you do not need to take a bath on this car and let you keep it, there are tons of 4door slightly used cars out there for a steal

I wouldn't feel too sorrowful -- anyone able to pony up the dough to get a $150K plaything in the middle of a global recession is not getting freebie financing or taking equity out of their home, so they must have the folding stuff. And again, the planet is just now lowering itself into the second half of a global depression, so anyone with two pennies to rub together is doing okay. As for two or three years hence, make no mistake about it: if the planet is still in a great depression in two years, the only Porsches to desire will be the armor plated survivalist type running on solar with iron plating welded over the doors and windows because we will be in civil revolt.

Drifting
No other options than the ones listed.
This is a purist's car and has all the options that matter to me, which is the brakes for performance, the color for looks, the lojack for security, the extended warranty for piece of mind.
Obviously I didn't pay sticker for it, as I bought it at the height of the market.
