Due to an overwhelming reponse from you guys the I sent my dealer an email asking for the red to be dropped for the Gold with the cage being black.

At first he started saying;

a) It wouldn't look good.

and then

b) it's too late.

But after a further email he is going to try and sort it out for me.

I guess I also got my inspiration from the GT2 RS as well.

Interestingly,

I wonder why no one with a White RS has gone the black Sticker and Wheel theme?? That would look awesome!

My car will never have decals or lips, but what's left of the red might turn black one day.
White / black is my favorite, but i am giving the red mirrors, red wheels and red wing tips a chance, classic RS color after all and there is all that other red stuff all over the place..

getting the car in black is the hard part. the decals etc are EASY. you can get decals for 200 bucks I bet. I mean, even if a decal set costs 600 it's still pocket change compared to the PTS!!!

Yep,

That was the hardest thing about changing the colour to gold.

Having stated this.

The Blue with Gold, White with Gold and Grey with Gold still have the red inside so sort of justifies it.

Agreed.

Actually my dealer has a Basalt Black with Red coming on the 28th June.

I'll be sure to photograph it when it arrives.

come on now you aussies- you know webber is the king of blocks! vettel is faster and makes less mistakes in racing form but the only car wider than webber's is schumacher
