Is there any Rennlister here who has tried to delete the 4 wheel drive system on a 997 Turbo in order to make it a pure 2 wheel drive car?
If so what problems, if any, did you encounter with all the electronic systems?

I just did this to my 993 turbo. I reccommend it highly - especially for track use. Saves weight, reduces drivetrain power reduction, read: adds power. Benefits all around. (unless you like to drive your porsche in the snow or find yourself getting frequently stuck in the mud)
