Default GT3 strut mounts => 997.1S

Have a set of these strut mounts from GT3 that I would like to mount on my 2006 C2S.

The opening on the spherical bearing is 18mm.

So trying to figure out if my PASM strut will fit these before I disassemble the suspension. Anyone had experience with this?

Thanks
dr

I think you may well be on unexplored ground ... this is the best I can assist you with:

I think from these PET images I would say that:

- the mount will attach to the car
- the shock *might* fit into the bearing

BUT - I think what I take away from these images is that the assembly at the top of the springs are radically different (parts 6-9, and 4-8), which inclines me to think that they would not "seat" properly ...

hope that helps...

Thanks LC,

Maybe I'll move this to the "parts for sale" section.

Please dont take my word for it ... I'm making an "informed" guess ... I could be wrong.

I'm assuming that you want this in order to 'rotate' the hats to gain additional camber up front?

no one make an aftermarket camber plate(s) for the 997S?

I *think* FVD have camber plates for the 997 C2S ... checkout their website.
