Default Found my gt3.2, used, and overpriced????

Hey guys. Well, I found a nice, used 2010 gt3 with 1,200 miles on it. Problem is that it is priced higher than what I would pay for a brand NEW personally specced 2011 (if they ever release allocation.)!

Car stickered for $146K, is listed at $135K, and has fugly sport chrono and colored gauges. It also has PCCB's which I would not spec. I made them a very reasonable cash offer.....what do you think is fair, what will "get her done", and would you buy or wait?

I told the salesperson that it is a year old, the new RS is almost at the same price point, and there are decent discounts on many new 2010 gt3's. Someone traded it in for a F-car. Thanks in advance.

Stick to $110k. Another $20k will get you an used 2010 GT3 RS shortly, just wait a few months.

Anything over $110k for an used 997.2 GT3 is overpriced. Ignore the MSRP from cars heavily loaded, as SportChrono, cosmetics pieces, etc, carry zero resale value. The PCCB in my opinion don't add more than $5k to resale, and for the 2007/2008 GT3/GT3RS PCCB are carrying 0 resale value, but they make the car more appealing to potential buyers.

Now, if the car you're looking at is a Paint-To-Sample with a nice color choice (like the Mexico, Riviera and Maritime Blue cars that came to the West Coast), be prepared to add another $10k to your offer.

Pick-up the phone, go to the Porsche website ==> dealers, and start making phone calls, you will find your 2011 GT3 allocation and spec the car to your preference.

Rad,

I would have to disagree.

My 997.2 GT3....msrp....137,000.

Current Value........150,000 (because I would throw in an autographed picture of myself)

I think there are still 20 or so new 10' out there (MJones would know...) although they will all be specced to the max ...
