Actually, the ideal track gearbox would be a CVT for the straights where the engine can remain constantly at peak power for maximum acceleration. But you'd want some stepped ratios built in for corners where you need to hold a constant ratio. I think we'll see something like that in the future.

More realistically, the GT3 will get PDK as soon as it gets the new engine. I'll miss the Metzger engine, though. And I'll really miss my stickshift when that goes away too.
