It's a general problem unfortunately for all 2010 models...

same on 2011. i got a proclip and mounted iphone using the tomtom secondary gps receiver. easy to just use the phone interface for contacts. Also, I highly recommend the tomtom nav ap. It works way better than pcm. Even diverts around traffic, speed limit changes, and warns me of speeding cameras in italy.

We just got back from Scotland and we used a Garmin unit and it was amazingly easy to use, completely accurate and warned us of all of the speed cameras! Highly recommend Garmin! I have navigation in all of my cars and the Garmin unit we used is way better than any of the factory installed units that I have used.

I also have an iPhone and CDR-30 w/BT. Is here any way to enter contacts into the CDR-30 manually?

And this is the only reason I ordered my car with PCM. Well, that and I also wanted to be able to navigate my ipod's playlist via the touchscreen. I guess that makes me a gadget freak, though I'm quite certain I will not use the navigation system at all because the GT3 will not be going on any road trips unless it's on a trailer

Same for me with my Blackberry.
I don't think so, or I could not figure it out, you can manually type in phone numbers as far as I can tell.
I love it, made for me. I can call hands free without looking in the manual. The speakers are too crappy for music, but I left the radio in so I can call home to make sure dinner is ready. I'm always hungry.

I was able to send business cards from my phone to the CDR30 by hooking it up to the AUX jack of the car. These were stored in the contacts. However, it won't let me dial those contacts from the CDR. It does however recognize the name when those contacts dial me. Strange.
