From here 6.6 lbs for the standard audio (4 speakers). I estimate the high audio upgrade adds 15 lbs on top of that with the sub, larger speakers, larger amp and the four additional speakers.

I just weighed a single CGT seat with rails/sliders attached = 24.7 lbs. (on a digital B/R scale). The GT2 seat weights came from Porsche, I believe, and probably don't include any mounting hardware. Maybe someone else can physically verify those?

Cloth vs leather.

These are leather/alcantara. Not sure about the other numbers; they were in my OCD file from somewhere!

Had a chance to weigh a GT2 seat today with slider and rail attached, exactly the same configuration as my CGT seat. 38.4 vs 24.7 pounds each. Pair: GT2 = 76.8; CGT = 49.4; delta = 27.4 pounds.

Thanks for the follow up! I have added your confirmed info to the original post.

I'm sure your data is correct, however, I previously thought that the delta between the A.S.S. and standard (manual) Sport Seats was closer to 47 lbs can't remember where I sourced that. So, >31 lbs?

Yet another reason to track down a pair of '10 RS cloth CGT seats. Looks like a buying trip to Europe is in order.

Cool thread. Are you considering adding onto it an aftermarket section?

Certainly, I just do not know the aftermarket as well, but am trying to learn -- both power and weight savings
claims are more difficult to verify however. Most significant as I currently understand would be an exhaust
system, which can save meaningful weight at the back of the car, improving overall front/rear balance. Up to
50 lbs. with both Akrapovic and Sharkwerks systems as has been documented in several threads on this forum.
Next up in terms of weight saved would be aftermarket wheels...

The only seats I have personally weighed are the GT2 and CGT. The others are numbers taken at face value from other sources, without confirmation. It would be nice if someone could double check those; you may be correct.

Porsche quotes the stock '10 GT3 battery at 35lbs.

Will add to the original post once I have accurate cost info. How much $ for each of the items above?
