So no issues with the extra .5 in width, ie the wheel well fits the tires without rubbing?
Also How many days do you get out of a set? do you heat cycle prior to mounting?
TIA

The 345/35R18 R6/A6 will not fit any Porsche GT2/GT3 without major modifications.
The largest rear Hoosier that fits is the 335/30R18 (wide body GTs) and 315/30R18 (narrow bodies).
With minor modifications the 335/30R18 fits the rear of the narrow body GT3. At the front with minor modifications the 285/30R18 fits, and with no modifications, the 255/35R18 fits.

Is this purely for cosmetics?? LOL
Why do you need 345's on a GT3? I had 335's on my GT2, went down to 315 in hoosiers, had same amount as grip yet they were lighter, meaning, you go FASTER!
Sometimes bigger isn't always better, just some food for thought!

I haven't tried 18's.
There's some odd dimensions on some hooters -- the numbers are misleading, so you have to look at the specs.

345/30-18 and 245/40-18 is what I've purchased for my 997.2 GT3. I've yet to run them on track, but I'll be certain to check the fit on the fronts to see how well the 255 might fit. Front grip is good! LOL

265 and 345/19 works. I'm pretty happy with the balance of the car, certainly not carrying too much stick in the rear despite the noticeable wing.
I haven't tried 18's.

I ran 265/30R19 and 345/30R19 A6 on my GT3 RS, good balance, but too heavy and tall for a tall geared car.
The 345/30R19 is as wide as the 335/30R18. The 345/35R18 is 1" wider than a 345/30R19 or a 335/30R18.
The 265/35R19 is the same width than a 235/35R19 just taller (the front should use the shortest tire possible, for good steering response). The 255/35R18 is a lot wider than the 245/35R18 or 245/40R18, it should be called 275/30R18.

I just ran willow springs last week. Ran the 255/35/zr18 and the 335/30/zr18 and had minor tire rub in the front, but again my car has been lowered to the Euro ride height.
I am thinking the 245 in the front should fix that. I haven't has a chance to pull a wheel to verify exactly where the rub is.

I say raise it a little and stick w/ the 255s up front. I was rubbing with 245s and then raised it about 1/2 inch and now I have no rubbing with the 255s.

I have the RS model so it would appear that I could run 335s out back if desired? I'm using some 18 x 12 CCWs with what looks like a 4mm spacer.
