Default 'PM' sign in digital speedo?

I had my 07 GT3 in the service yesterday. When I picked it up the mechanic showed me something in the display that does not seem to be normal:

On the right side of the digital speed letters there is a small unit (km/h or mi/h) sign, about half the size of the numbers. So far so good. But above that there are the two letters 'PM' in my display, same font size.

Refering to the dealer this 'PM' usually indicates that the car is still in Production Mode and does not run faster than 30km/h. The PM sign should disappear as soon as the car is handed over from the dealer.

Well, my car definitly runs faster than 30km/h and left the dealer 3 years ago already... but the PM sign is still there. They updated the display, but the letters remain in the display.

There is absolutly no impact and it does not bother me too much.... I am just curious if somebody else has/had this?

Wolfgang
