You can use the existing North American beam. You just need to unbolt the aluminum north american bumperettes.

Yes i understand that however, the location of the tow hook will then be in the wrong place. The Euro spec bumper is on the right of the plate and the US is behind the plate.

i found this part number: 997.505.121.00, can anybody confirm this is the correct euro alum beam before i order it?

the location of the tow hook can still be on the right side of the plate.

You should be able to use your north american beam and still have tow hook on right side as i did with my RS. (this is why i did the mod 5 years ago...)

The part number is correct for 997.1. The 997.2 part number is 997.505.121.92

Also note the heat shield portion is a separate part number and doesn't come with the aluminum bumper.
