Today I went to the NYIAS. I did a complete double take when I pulled into the parking garage just around the corner form the Javitz Center and saw this parked in the garage...

The guy in the chair had been on watch from 5am. I got there about noon and after talking to him for a while he let me take some inside shots of the car. When I was going to leave for home about 4pm they were loading the car back into the trailer to bring it over to the show. The car was as the dinner last night, but not sure where that was as Porsche once again forgot to send me my invitation. I'll have to talk to them about that!
For whatever reason the car was being stored at the garage for the day.
Check out the boost button on the steering wheel. Also notice the round thingey where the passenger seat would be. That is where the "Boost" is stored, or generated or something like that. The car had no brakes. They were there, but for some reason they were not working so they really had to be careful moving the car around. As you can see they really had to work with the angles of the inclination as the front splitter was really low. I asked why they did not just take the splitter off and the one guy said it was part of the front bumper. Not sure about all that, but whatever. The car is off to Beiging after NYC.

The big Press release at this show is the new Cayenne models. They also talked about the Hybrid model available later this year.

Hurley Haywood was there today. From what I heard he was racing online with others with the X Box system. I am not sure what the full story was, but something about PCA members could sign up for this. In any event, do doubt from what I saw that he left foot brakes!!! He is a really nice guy and was very approacheable. Also there was Marc Factory driver. Another really appcorheable guy. His favorite track, Nordschleife! ![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)

Fantastic pictures! Hurley is really good people.
I do notice one glaring omission from all these pictures, however: hot long-legged podium babes.![burnout](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/burnout.gif)
