The 2007-2008 cars had option 498 Delete Model Designation which was deleting the rear engine lid logo.

Now, in addition to 498, there is also option 26441 Delete Stripes/Model Designation.

If you don't want the side decals, but do want the rear lid logo, you might need to specify option 498 (or 26441) and also option XUC Model Designation Painted on Rear Lid in Exterior Color (requires option 498)

I wonder if the car comes with the GT3RS sticker for the trunk? I think the othe grey / gold car that had decal delete still had that on the trunklid. I might put it on after the car is wrapped, or just keep people guessing..
It's a beaut Peter! Bring it up and give me a ride!

The wait is the wheels. Hoping for Sebring in May, Road Atl and VIR in June July and Roebling is high on the list also!

Peter
Can't wait to see your new ride. Mine is about two months away but not sure if I can afford it since I just bought a new office.

Peter:
Rules are made to be broken and I may do the lease thing, something I have never done. All toys in the past have been paid for. Just need to work a harder!!
Have a blast!

So, Omaha Porsche...is this Ebay car the one in the posting above? It sure looks like it and has your dealer tags on it. If so, how do you explain this $199k listing? When people search Google for Omaha Porsche, this thread will show at the top of the search results.

How do you guys feel about this kind of rapacious greedy flipping? Do you think it helps or hurts the real enthusiasts? Who is the flipper?

If anyone is to blame for "rapacious greedy flipping", it's the idiots who are willing to pay inflated prices...

Now I'm no in a position to over pay for any car. Of course I must say that I do hate this kind of behavior, like someone else said as long as someone is willing to pay they get away with it. I hope he can not sell it at anything close to his buy it now price. Cars like this should be for enthusiasts, not speculators.

its just foolish because right now there are cars out there at or below msrp.
DSU just posted his RS allocation (at the dealer ready to go) for the same MSRP.
I had a white/red allocation i too gave up just 2 weeks ago to a fellow enthusiast who couldnt get an allocation, he paid the same MSRP.

anyway, anyone paying above MSRP is crazy on 2 levels, one to ever pay up given what happened last time with the 997.1 RS price plunge a year later, and b) that they are out there at msrp or less.

go figure...

That's a nice photo. Very hard to get the car's proportions just right in a photo.
