Default 997 GT3 and 996 GT3 brake caliper problem

Dear All,
first of i wish to give our best greetings to all of You...great Forum.

We are turning the Cayman S running the italian Cayman Cup (everything stock, just exhaust and ECU tuning, and street tyres!) to compete in the European GT4 Championship (www.gt4cup.com).

Team we are working for has a braking problem with too much strenght required to brake.
We actually have removed brake assistance and installed:
- brake pumps off the 997 GT3 running the Carrera Cup
- brake calipers off the 996 GT3 (code: 996.351.431.91)
- brake discs (code: 996.351.409.9J)

my question is:
are 996 GT3 calipers different from 997 GT3 calipers? anyone knows the calipers pistons diameter in the two calipers?
this beacuse i think the problem comes from the relation between brake pumps and brake calipers, considering those pumps work beautifully in the 997 Carrera Cup.

Before disassembling the two calipers, i hoped someone here had this informations, or could indicate where to find calipers spec indicating pistons diameters (p-pot both), as i have the calipers' drawings but no pistons dimensions are indicated.

ThankYou
