I have a set of C10's on my 996 GT3 and plan on getting a set of CCW center locks (when available) for my new 2011 GT3. I use my current C10's as track wheels and have not had any issues so far. Good looking wheels also.

I love those wheels. They are super strong. I havent been able to bent any of them! (3 racecar sets + 1 set on the Street GT2 for Winter and Track tires). I just keep them bouncing off kerbs and they remain solid.
John can do them in colors too:

I've been playing phone tag with John yesterday. Waiting for him to confirm that he has CL wheels with RS offset.

I've heard very good thing about CCW and he stands behind his product.
BBS is probably king, but CCW is cheaper.

(i) with the 18s, what tyre sizes are you using? Is it crucial to keep rolling diameters similar to standard?, and (ii) If I go 19s (and thus standard tyre sizes), do they do these in C10s or only c14s? I am currently awaiting a response from CCW but am trying to decide what size and style to ask for...
Any suggestions would be appreciated particularly regarding the tyre sizes for the 18s. I can get plenty of different tyres in the OEM sizes (19s) but need to research whats available here in 18s....

Another positive plug for CCW's. I bought my 1st set from CCW and my 2nd set from Mooty. They really are awesome wheels. I use the C10's. CCW are a very popular DE and racing wheel around my neck of the woods. I highly suggest them.

If one were to get a set w/ color, what finish would be the most durable? (for street / track driving)

Anodized brushed? Anodized shot peen? Or painted finish?

Does the current anodizing process still result in purple wheels after they are used for awhile??

I have a set of C10s and they have been terrific (grey anodized). John was awesome and got them and the tires to me very quickly for a DE - amazing service, I am thinking about another set for streets

I've generally heard nothing but good things about them over the past couple of years on this forum but when I was chatting to a local wheel dealer and brought them up, he said he couldn't see how they could compare to the $8k sets he is trying to flog (Forza monoblocks)...

Opinions please...
I personally love them and after much thought I am going to sell my set since I have finally decided NOT to get a replacement 997.1 gt3

I have a set of ccws for a gt3 997.1 with used rubber on them if any wants to buy them.

I have two sets-C10s and C12s. The grey anodized matches up nicely with my GT Silver color.

Best value for the money;they're strong;and as others have said, John is very easy to work with.

I just got off the phone with CCW and they are not yet producing 2010 CL wheels. They need someone with a car (or just the wheels for that matter) to stop by so they can let their engineers get something in the works. Bummer that there is nothing from them yet.

I offered them my car weeks ago, but they were not ready yet.
Sent a couple of e-mails and spoke to john a couple of times.

I really wanted them and save some $$, but he seems overwhelmend by the move. I'll let someone else go first and bought BB$ wheels delivery by the end of this month. CCW will be my second set..
