I like the 997.2 without the fender decal. Just the sides.

My May build allocation is ordered just as you have it: white/red with "decal delete', so obviously I think you made the "perfect" selections.
p.s. The .2 decals are just "too much" for me.

gloss white decals on matte white wrap, and gold wheels, would be very discreet.
or very light grey decals on std white paint, like on the pd edition 2 boxter cars.

My car is ordered with decal delete, no PCCB's.

I am leaning towards wrapping the mouth white and no decals at all, but leaving the wheels, mirrors and wing tips red.

Does it look to plain? Should I add the 997MKI decals?
My vote goes to decals because with the way the wing looks, it's always going to look like a beast vs a classy car. On a classy lady, no decals... on a beast, I think they look appropriate. However, given that you're not sure, why not order it without and if you decide later that you want them, have them put on by a pro and you'll be as good as factory.

More decals the merrier : ) just like cupcars : ). It's already a presence why deter from it : ). Mike ps- would be nice if they had a Porsche option to put car numbers of your choice.

Does anyone have suggestions on where to get do-it-yourself matte for the front lips?

My Rs will be arriving shortly in Grey/Red. I elected to keep all the decalsas the car was built. My thought is that an RS is not meant to be classy or subtle. Porsche thinks it is good and it is good by me. My car will spend at least 50% of the time on the track and most of the cars there have Decals far worse than the decals on the RS. They look real sharp on the white because the contrast makes them pop. It is always your call but it is an RS and it should stand out from the 997 cars.

You will never be disappointed either way but it is easier to take them off than it is to put them on.
